Confessions of a Little Twin
Wednesday, April 09, 2003

So, I've had a REALLY great day today. First of all, my hair worked this morning. That in itself is a miracle. When I got to school, I went to the language lab and lo and behold, Tyler and Lynsey came in!!! I didn't have to do the lab all by myself!!!!! YAY! Well, we talked, and I found out that I only need to do 12 out of the 15 labs, so I'm done!!!! HURRAY!!!!!!!! Ok, so the three of us walked to class together and decided that we would do an assignment Bryan, my Fingerspelling and Numbers teacher, gave us together on Monday. *sigh of relief* So, we get to class and are split up into groups, and lo and behold, Tyler is in my group. He told anyone who would listen about the tragic story of his engagement that broke off a month before the wedding, since like five more people got engaged over the weekend. It was fun. I slugged him a few times, and believe me he deserved it. Hee hee.

Anyway, I go to Institute, and of course, it was wonderful. Brother Bartholomew is the BEST!!! We talked about President Hinkley, and I love him so much that it was a really good lesson.

Math wasn't so good, since it was a test review, but now I know exactly what will be on the test, so I know what to study.

Mythology was fun since it was a group presentation and we got food. I must say I love that class. Our (Laura and I have this class together) teacher is amazing. Funny, though, she has the same dress as my mom, and the first time she wore it, I had to do a double take. *snigger*

Did I mention that it is absolutely beautiful outside? I love days like this. In the words of the Carpenters: "There is wonder in most everything I see. Not a cloud in the sky, got the sun in my eyes and I won't be surprised if it's a dream." That just about sums it up for me.

Well, gotta do homework. Oh, and dad, thanks for the comment, even with the reference to my "theme song".

Incidentally, 'poseurs' at the bottom of the posts means 'Comments' in french. Please comment!!!

So, I know it's been a long time since I've written, but I'll get better. I've been really busy. At UVSC, if you take a language class, you have to go to the language lab every week. Well, I'm a slacker and didn't go as much as I should. There's one and a half weeks left of actual school, so I'm cramming. Basically, I live at the lab. Blah!!! I've also not done my assignments for ASL, and those are all due Friday, not to mention that I have a math test of Thursday. My parents will be proud of me though, I did some math early, as in not the day before the test. =)

So, I've had a big surprise this weekend. My dad is buying all of us kids laptops!!! I'm so excited I can barely stand it!

Tonight, my best friend from Fifth grade called! She moved away after 5th grade and we've only seen each other a few times since then. That was 10 years ago!!! I was so happy to hear her voice, I can't stand it! I don't believe it, but even though we haven't really talked or even communicated at all for the last ten years, we are still best friends. It's wonderful! Paige, if you read this, I love you!
